2 Cards Out Of My Comfort Zone

I know I haven't said much lately but I haven't worked much on my cards, as I've been ill and all, but yesterday I had my perfect Sunday, quilling 2 cards. Not these ones I am going to show you, but these I had in my folders for a while and only today did I manage to watermark them.

I hope you'll like them, although I must confess they are both not my style specifically. One because of the model ( the butterfly) and the other because of the colors. Anyway, I like the way they turned out and I'll be waiting for your sincere opinions.
As about posting new stuff, I promise I'll try to stay around more.

But,
Until next time,
Behave And Quill!

My First Sketch Spotlight Challenge!

I just entered my first Stamping competition with what is actually my first ever made stamped card! The Challenge is being held by Gina K. from Gina K. Designs, on stamp TV, her website. You can come and see my card here, and, if you are a member you can leave your comment there. Or, if you want, you can see my card here...
...

...and leave your comments in the section.
I must admit I have fallen in love with Gina K.'s stamps ever since I've first discovered her Youtube Channel, which is simply amazing - you should check it when you have time. The stamps I used for this card are not from her collection (because, sadly, I couldn't find any of her stamps where I live) - but I hope I'll be able to stamp soon with her beautiful designs. So thanks for visiting and I'll be waiting for your opinions!

Until next time,
Behave And Quill...or Stamp!

Broaches

Today I want to show you how I tried to combine the beauty and utility of quilling. I am sure I am not the first one who tried doing this (as a matter of fact, I've seen so many artists who create mostly jewelry with quilling technique), but these are my first attempts, were made for my friend and, as far as I can tell, she was very pleased with them. What do you think?

The two models were made after two pictures I had in my Quilling folder and the models were choosed by my friend. Here they are:

What I am sorry about is that I cannot remember where I took these pictures from and I cannot give the credits to the authors, but if you see this and you are the artist or somebody who knows the artist, please let me a comment and tell me if I can keep your pictures here of if it bothers you. Thanks a lot. I usually try to make my own models but this time this is what I was requested to do so...this is what I did.
I promise I'll show you original creations quite soon. I do! :)
But until next time,
Behave And Quill!

Later Edit: My blogger friend, kiddo told me that she fortunately found the author of the butterfly, you can see her work hereUnfortunately, Michaela does not have a blog yet, but she told me she intends to create one. Hope we hear from that soon! Thanks a lot, kiddo!

Summer, where are you?

So during the last days it snowed almost all day long here in Cluj, making us think like we can wait for Santa Claus to come again :) I don't know if you have snow there, wherever you are, but here it's too much already, so if you want, I can send you some through mail or fed-ex :))
The first thing when you walk in the morning through snow, and cold wind and wetty, slippery...something down the road, you keep dreaming about the sweet summer... With warm and sunny days...and birds and butterflies...
And, waiting for the next summer to come, I thought of giving you all a little present: the sweet meeting between a butterfly and a ladybug. Can you see the "luuuuv"? :))

Promise I'll write again soon, but...
Until next time,
Behave And Quill!
