I know, I know, I've been missing for a long time now, but I have been on my Easter holiday for a week and the week that just ended was a rough one for me so...all in all I haven't been very communicative lately.
But enough with the talking, let's see some craft project! One of my dream craft items I truly wish to own one day are The Nestabilities from Spellbinders. One of the most helpful items for a crafter, from my point of view, and as I may guess, not only mine. But, if you lack what you wish for, you are liable to improvise. So, if you are in the same situation as me, with a pair of compasses and a pair of hobby scissors try to re-create one of the scallops from Spellbinders, like I did here.
The sentiment is written in Romanian and it means "Thank you a lot!" or "Thank you very much!" (you get the idea... :) ) and it is made using glitter powder over my handwriting.
I hope that you'll like the card I'm showing you today and I promise I'll show you soon what I have been up to during my holiday. I am in a new phase of my crafting discoveries and experiments of which I am delighted. I don't intend to tell more now, but, because you are my friends, I will give you a hint: pencils!
Well, hoping to see you soon,
Until next time,
Behave And Quill!

Felt Heart
A couple of weeks ago, as I was searching through different stores for all kind of materials (like ribbons, papers and other card supplies) I found a set of different sheets of felt, precut for making a flag - the triangle style. What was great about this set is that the precut shapes were self-adhesive, so that made them even easier to be used. I decided I would buy it right away and planned on using the shapes on my quilling cards. I started by making these two little hearts on my card here. This one went to a friend's friend, on her birthday. I haven't found yet what she thought about it, but I could only hope she liked it. What do you say?
Also, if you have noticed, I've been trying lately to give more dimension to my cards, to make them look more 3D. I think they must get as "alive" as you can make them be, so I'm looking for all kind of techniques in order to obtain this. What about you? What do you think your card should try to be?
Until next time,
Behave And Quill!

You're Sweet. Candy Sweet.
Tonight I share with you a delicious treat. No, it's not chocolate, muffin and not even sherbet, for it to be said. It's sweeter. And cuter :) At least so I think.
I've made this baby-blue - candy-pink combo almost by accident, but when I put them aside and said the names of the colors I realized how well they would work together. And, of course, what would a nice treat like this be without a little sugary sparkle? So I sprinkled as much sparkling accents as I could...As far as I know, the also sweet recipient of this card hasn't received it yet, but I was promised to be told I would get the feed-back as soon as possible. Until then, I'll be expecting yours, along with your comments and opinions! So, what do you think?
Bye for now,
Until next time,

2 Cards Out Of My Comfort Zone
I know I haven't said much lately but I haven't worked much on my cards, as I've been ill and all, but yesterday I had my perfect Sunday, quilling 2 cards. Not these ones I am going to show you, but these I had in my folders for a while and only today did I manage to watermark them.
I hope you'll like them, although I must confess they are both not my style specifically. One because of the model ( the butterfly) and the other because of the colors. Anyway, I like the way they turned out and I'll be waiting for your sincere opinions.
As about posting new stuff, I promise I'll try to stay around more.
But,
Until next time,

Lil' Gothic Inspiration
Last week I was asked to create a card in which at least one of the predominant color would be black. Not as unusual as you would expect from a card, but anyway a first-timer for me. As for the friend who asked me doing this, I think she was happy with it. What about you? What do you think? :)
I like the color combo and how all the violet shades blend together with the ultramarin narrow ribbon and bow. I think I'll keep in mind this pattern for future gothic-inspired cards.
Until next time,

Little Floral Fantasy
It's very late ( or very early - depending on how you want to see the watch :)) ), but I didn't want to go to sleep without posting this card for you. As I already told you, I started to love ribbons more and more and I also like the contrasting colors layering. I am also so comfortable making these flowers, different sizes and shapes, but somehow all being able to blend it together. I feel that soon I'll want to quill something different, but until then...let's see this:)
Also, as you can see, I experimented a little with the idea of making a watermark on all of my cards, with the initials of the blog: "Happy Quilling". Any thoughts about it?
I'll wait for your opinions and also suggestions for what should I quill further. I have some ideas of my own, but I would always love to hear fresh ideas from you!
